Young Architect Builds Bright Future

24 year old emerging talent Carinna Perkin is the youngest trainee architect in the UK to win a coveted national industry award at a glittering ceremony in London.

Carinna is a Newcastle University student making waves thanks to her industry sponsor, Waring and Netts, the North East's most successful architectural practice, committed to fostering the best up-and-coming talent studying in the North East. As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence we are pleased to welcome Ian Johnston as an architect Associate. Ian's extensive experience in designing for health further strengthens this dedicated team.

The rest of the practice continues to grow in response to demand, with Andrew Grounsell joining as an Associate Director. Flagship PFI scheme Reaches Timely Completion

The project team delivering the flagship £17.5 million PFI project to replace Boldon School in South Shields is celebrating its successful completion.

The team for the state-of-the-art 1050-pupil secondary school comprised Gleeson Building's north east regional office, architects at the multidiscipline consultancy for the built environment Waring and Netts, and the Newcastle office of White Young Green, consultants to the built, natural and social environment. A New Hotel for Sheffield

Aston Hotels, the UK's newest hotel group, is adding South Yorkshire to its portfolio of properties.
