History
Founded in 1957 by Arnold Waring and Leonard Netts, rapid expansion and a hard-won reputation for excellence brought several national awards to the company.
Waring and Netts continued a pattern of steady growth and enjoyed considerable success through its work in the education, commercial and health sectors. In 2005 the partnership became a limited company, with four directors.
In 2007 the company employed its own expertise to revitalise a dated 1990’s building into an impressive environment where it staff enjoy break out and games zones, lunchtime fitness classes to feed their soul and will soon be able to feed their body with an organic on-site café.
The same year also saw the establishment of the company’s first office outside the North East, a 4,500sq ft building in the heart of the vibrant Brewery Wharf area in Leeds.
At the time of the company re-launch under the new _space brand in January 2008, staff numbers stood at over 150, and in the long term we expect to create up to 50 more positions to join the 8-strong team at our Leeds office.
